Some time ago, we were reluctantly forced to cancel the monthly production of our newsletter, OMUG News, due to the high costs of production and distribution. This was a decision we made with considerable reluctance, as an informative and well-designed newsletter has always been one of the key signs of a thriving User Group. However, we were essentially unable to sustain the publication at that time. If you really want to know the details, contact one of the officers at the next meeting.

What happened then, however, is not nearly as interesting as what has happened now. Due in large part to the active interest of some of our new members, we have recreated OMUG News as an electronic newsletter, to be published bimonthly as an Adobe Acrobat™ ".PDF" file.

The first issue was released the first of March, additional issues will follow every two months. Members who are on the OMUG REMINDER mailing list will receive an e-mail with a link to the location from which it can be downloaded. This will continue with each issue.

As each new issue is published, the previous issue will be made accessible to the non-member public on a page of this website. In addition, as back issues of the OLD OMUG News are converted to PDFs, they will be posted in an archival area of the website once the massively-overhauled, new-&-improved OMUG website is online. For now, they will be available via links at the bottom of this page.
