Topic: Mac OS 9 & OS X Hints & Tips

Meeting Summary:

Jeanne Hansen , the Metro Tech Macintosh computer lab guru spoke regarding OS 9 and OS X features and upkeep, and the many differences between the two.

Jeanne, who teaches Mac classes at Metro Tech Community College, gave a very interesting presentation on the more interesting features, shortcuts, and troubleshooting techniques applicable to the Mac OS -- both OS9 and also versions 10.2 ("Jaguar") and 10.3 ("Panther") of OS X.

She also passed around an excellent handout with the same information and also a list of links to sites where more or other information is to be found.

Thanks to OMUG Vice President Dahlia Cavazos' efforts in getting the word out to people she thought likely to be interested, it was a very well attended meeting, and Jeanne's presentation really did the turnout justice.

We will look forward to possible future presentations with considerable interest.
